I’m afraid we subjected ourselves to another Tuesday in the Trail of Trees clearing clover and thistle from the paths. At least it was cooler than it was in recent days. It’s amazing how much work a group of knowledgeable volunteers can accomplish while having fun at the same time. This is a short report as it follows on from last week. Weeding. Two groups formed to tackle two different areas. The smaller group comprised: Janet Wall and Marna Wensil.  The larger group comprised: Julia Appelrouth, Josie Harb, Dale Harshberger, Susanna Mac, Katie Shank, Daryl Stutley, Nancy Taylor Walker, Ann Wright and myself. We also had a special guest: Ruby, Josie’s young daughter who was on spring break.
