Plant Sale Saturdays
Native and water-wise plant sales on held the first Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. - noon in the nursery area of the main garden.  Enter at 350 W. Gainsborough Rd., between Lynn Rd., and Moorpark Rd., Thousand Oaks. Park and walk south on the path following the signs to the garden entrance, and then follow the signs to the nursery.

Matilija Poppy
Festival

The spectacular display of the Matilija poppies will provide a backdrop for an afternoon of garden fun.

Kids’ Adventure Garden

Sunday at the Conejo Valley Botanic Garden
1100am to 3:00pm

 The Kids’ Adventure Garden is open every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  The KAG provides an exciting place for children to learn about nature and gardening.  The garden features a tree house, dinosaur garden and much more.  Free.  Docents are available.  Enter at 350 W. Gainsborough Rd., between Lynn Rd., and Moorpark Rd., Thousand Oaks.   805-374-8255


Rare Fruit Walk

1st Sunday of every month, February thru October
2:00pm

Garden walk focuses on rare fruit at the Conejo Valley Botanic Garden.  Ed Hager will lead a walk through the orchard and answer questions during a rare fruit garden walk at 2 p.m., on Sunday afternoons, February - October.  Enter at 350 W. Gainsborough Rd., between Lynn Rd. and Moorpark Rd., Thousand Oaks.  Park and walk south on the path following the signs to the garden entrance.  Meet at the entrance.  Sturdy shoes and bottled water suggested.  Rain cancels. Free.  805-494-7630


Floral Design Classes
Floral design in the Sogetsu style will be held in the garden center of the Conejo Valley Botanic Garden at 9:30 a.m. on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month.  The cost for each class is $15 plus $10 for flowers, or $50 per month.  For more information call Camille at 498-7421.  Enter at 350 W. Gainsborough Rd., Thousand Oaks.
